Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is hosting their Bunks Across America 2024 event and need our assistance to provide 50 beds to children without our community. Research shows to children who sleep on the floor are more likely to experience negative outcomes, including in health and education. SHP helps to address that need, by finding sponsors and building and transporting the beds themselves.

Never built anything? No experience is needed! You must wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. All equipment and training will be provided.

The event starts at 0930 and will end when all 50 beds are built, so we do not anticipate going the entire day. Want to bring your teenager to help? Bring them along!

Parking is in the school parking lot and check-in is in the main front entrance by the flagpole.

Please note: we have reserved 10 guest spots, so only sign-up if you are certain you can attend.

ACHE members: this can count towards your volunteer events needed for FACHE (cert or recert).
