Judy is a skilled healthcare operations administrator with progressive experiences and positions in Quaternary, Tertiary, and Ambulatory Care settings. Earning both undergraduate and master’s degree in Registered Nursing from the University of Virginia, Judy specialized in critical care, emergency medicine, and flight nursing, earning professional certifications in all three areas. Aspiring to learn more in preparation for the challenges that healthcare faces today, she earned a MBA from the UVA Darden School of Business. She is truly a “Wahoo” at heart and yes, her favorite colors are orange and blue! In addition, she is certified as a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.
Judy was born in Norfolk, raised in Chesapeake, and lives in Virginia Beach. A true native, she is committed to the community and has enjoyed raising her two children here. Serving the community has always been a focus through her work with church youth groups, teaching Sunday school, volunteering as a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force Civil Air Patrol, and a being a lifetime member of the Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad. Judy is married with 2 children, a daughter who is a budding Architect, and a wonderful son who enjoys the local surfing!
