The Healthcare Administrators of Tidewater (HCAT) is partnering with Auntie Advocate to feed those in need on their “Serving Sunday.” Their mission: to build a bridge of resources for those impacted by gun violence. Each Sunday, they gather in MLK park in Norfolk to feed 75-100 people. We are looking for 15 people to help them serve our community!

WHEN: Sunday, June 9th, 12:30p-2:30pm (please arrive 15min early to check-in)

WHAT: Serving meals and performing other tasks to feed those in need

WHERE: MLK Park, Norfolk (701 Church St., Norfolk, VA 23510)

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

• Must be 18yo or minor (12+) with a guardian.
• This is an outdoor event so plan accordingly (bring water, as needed).
• Auntie Advocate has requested we wear YELLOW to support their organization.

OPTIONAL: Donations of items including Forks, Togo boxes, plastic bags to place the food in, hygiene items: deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc

This is a no fail mission, so please only sign-up if you are certain you can attend.
