DESCRIPTION:Join us as we assist Auntie Advocate to feed those in need in Norfolk on a Sunday afternoon in June!\n\n\nThe Healthcare Administrators of Tidewater (HCAT) is partnering with Auntie Advocate to feed those in need on their “Serving Sunday.” Their mission: to build a bridge of resources for those impacted by gun violence. Each Sunday\, they gather in MLK park in Norfolk to feed 75-100 people. We are looking for 15 people to help them serve our community! \nWHEN: Sunday\, June 9th\, 12:30p-2:30pm (please arrive 15min early to check-in) \nWHAT: Serving meals and performing other tasks to feed those in need \nWHERE: MLK Park\, Norfolk (701 Church St.\, Norfolk\, VA 23510) \nIMPORTANT DETAILS: \n\nMust be 18yo or minor (12+) with a guardian.\nThis is an outdoor event so plan accordingly (bring water\, as needed).\nAuntie Advocate has requested we wear YELLOW to support their organization.\n\nOPTIONAL: Donations of items including Forks\, Togo boxes\, plastic bags to place the food in\, hygiene items: deodorant\, soap\, toothpaste\, toothbrushes\, etc \nThis is a no fail mission\, so please only sign-up if you are certain you can attend. \n*This event can count towards your ACHE Fellow application* \nFor questions\, please contact the HCAT board member-at-large and volunteer coordinator\, Kimberly Tansey (kimbot@gmail.com).
