
Ashley Manifold is a first-year Administrative Fellow at Sentara Health. Prior to joining Sentara, Ashley served as an administrative intern at Intermountain Health, working with the executive team to improve hospital discharge efficiency. She also brings experience as a research assistant at Penn Medicine – Lancaster General Hospital, where she focused on enhancing patient handoffs between the operating room and ICU teams. Additionally, Ashley was published in the American Journal of Surgery for her work on designing an auditing process for unintentionally retained foreign objects (URFOs) with the Division of Health Engineering at UNC Health.
Ashley is a Delaware native but currently resides in Virginia Beach. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Classics from Franklin and Marshall College and a Masters in Health Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
