Dr. Cherelle Ridley currently serves as the Manager of Managed Care Contracting and Project Management for Sentara Healthcare. In this role, Cherelle has oversight of ancillary payer agreements. Prior to joining the Managed Care Contracting department, Cherelle was a Contract Compliance Manager at Sentara Health Plans, focusing on the Medicaid lines of business.
Cherelle earned a doctorate degree in Health Sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School, a master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Healthcare Management and Policy – also from Eastern Virginia Medical School, and an undergraduate degree in Biology from Norfolk State University.
Cherelle enjoys spending quality time with her children, family and friends. She is also an active member of the Planning Committee for the Southeastern Virginia chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, in support of the annual Walk To End Alzheimer’s.
With 10+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, Cherelle is thrilled to serve on the HCAT Board as the Membership Committee Chair. She is looking forward to connecting with current and future HCAT chapter members by working alongside the members and the Board to provide high quality programs and networking opportunities.
