Niesha Townsend is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a U.S. Naval Officer specializing in Health Care Administrator. Niesha completed her undergraduate studies at Dillard University obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health/Health Sciences. Later she attended the University of New Orleans obtaining a Master of Science in Healthcare Management and National University obtaining a Master of Science Health Informatics. She is currently assigned to Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center and primarily serves as Head of Materials Management providing logistical support for headquarters and 9 operational units. In addition, she is certified as a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.
