Vince Myers

Vince recently joined rockITdata, a veteran owned small business, where he the serves as

the Director of Military Health and an Executive Healthcare Consultant. He also serves as a High

Reliability executive leader coach supporting two large VA medical centers and eight community

based clinics.  He previously served as the Commander (CEO) of Blanchfield Army Community

Hospital, Fort Campbell, KY where he led over 2000 healthcare staff supporting 70,000

beneficiaries across a seven-state health service area. A seasoned strategic thinker, grassroots

innovator, and relationship builder, he optimizes every organization to perform well beyond their

historic norms.

Vince served from June 2020 to June of 2021 as the Military Deputy and Chief of Staff to

the Assistant Secretary for Health Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the

Pentagon. During an era of historic transformation in Military Healthcare, Vince was a

Congressional Liaison in the Office of the Chief Legislative Liaison, Pentagon, managing the

entire Army medical portfolio. He specialized in establishing foundational Congressional

relationships and completed 54 congressional delegation trips across the globe in two years.

Vince’s leadership experience includes four successful commands in the community

hospital, ambulatory health center, overseas health clinic, and wounded warrior unit setting

intermingled with multiple nursing leadership roles.

Vince holds a Master degree in Strategic Studies from the Army War College, a Master of

Science in Nursing Leadership from Walden University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing

from Gannon University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives

(FACHE), certified in Executive Nursing Practice, a certified orthopaedic nurse, and a

member of the recertification committee for the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.

Vince lives in Williamsburg, VA and is married to his wife Melanie. They have two children, Finnegan ( 12) and Ahna (10). Vince enjoys sports, family time, and spending time at the family cabin.
