  2. Powerhouse Partnership: We are thrilled to announce our partnership with VHHA. This collaboration will open doors to even more resources and expertise for our members, propelling us towards success.
  3. Celebrating Excellence: It’s time to raise a toast to six exceptional members who have achieved the prestigious ACHE Fellow status. Their remarkable accomplishments inspire us all and serve as a testament to the caliber of professionals in our association.
  4. New Board Members: We warmly welcome three outstanding individuals to our esteemed Board. Their diverse skills and expertise will undoubtedly contribute to our collective growth and progress.
  5. Bridging the Gap: In an effort to expand our reach, we’ve initiated connections with local universities. These partnerships will enable us to tap into fresh talent, exchange ideas, and foster a vibrant healthcare community.
  6. A Brand New Look: Our creative minds have been at work, crafting stunning collateral and marketing materials. These eye-catching resources will help us showcase the value of HCAT and attract even more professionals to our cause.
  7. Effective Communication: We’ve developed a comprehensive communication plan that will be executed as a sustained practice in Q3. This ensures that we stay connected, informed, and engaged, amplifying the impact of our collective efforts.

Now, it’s time to delve into the exciting updates from our dedicated Board members and fellow HCAT members. Take a moment to see what they’ve been up to! Stay tuned for more incredible initiatives as we continue to shape the future of HCAT together.

HCAT Volunteers at Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve

On May 27th HCAT held a volunteer event at Hoffler Creak Wildlife Preserve where we planted approximately 100 plants in the welcome area for the organization and made quite a difference to the landscaping. Hoffler Creek was gracious for our support and welcomed us back any time!

On April 16th HCAT came together to help the diaper bank, packing over 7,000 diapers and actually setting a record for time and volume! The diapers were distributed to all of the partner organizations through the community!

HCAT is excited to be partnering with the VHHA for their yearly Fall conference, held this year in Roanoke, VA. HCAT and CVHEG are co-sponsoring an ACHE segment during the conference, where our Regent, Joanne Inman will be presenting District 2 leadership awards, and the Chair of ACHE, Delvecchio Finely, will be giving a presentation on the state of ACHE.

We’d love to see many of our own HCAT members at the VHHA Fall Conference, “Aim for the Stars.”

We are Looking for University Partnerships!

A message from Cherelle Ridley, Membership Chair: As part of our initiative to increase membership and engagement, we are reaching out to local universities to discuss ways we can partner to not only grow HCAT but to discuss how we can be a resource for their students, faculty, and alumni. We believe this relationship can be mutually beneficial, and we look forward to a potential partnership. If you have connections in the Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management and /or Public Health programs at any of the surrounding universities, please contact me at cherelle.ridley@gmail.com

REQUEST: Please take the chapter member needs survey

Most of you probably received a survey request email titled “ACHE 2023 Chapter Member Needs Survey” last week – sent by Leslie Athey who is the Vice President of Strategy & Research for ACHE. Please take this survey – it’s extremely important to us as a Board to get accurate data on our member satisfaction scores and it’s a metric we track very closely. Our goal is to get as close to 5/5 on member satisfaction each year.

As always, please reach out to me with any questions or concerns. Thanks for reading along!
