President’s Update | Q2 2024

May 7, 2024

HCAT Members,

Once again, I would like to express my honor and gratitude for being able to step in as HCAT President for the remainder of 2024. If I have not had the pleasure of meeting you, I look forward to connecting with you at a networking or education event soon.

Our chapter has had a wonderful beginning to our year. Here is a highlight of what we have accomplished so far and what we have coming up:

Events

We have hosted two virtual and one in-person education events, as well as introducing Morning Fuel to our Peninsula region. Kudos to our amazing board and committee members that volunteer countless hours to ensure that these events are successful.

Mark your calendars for these two events that are coming up soon!

On May 11, we will be teaming up with the Foodbank and are still looking for volunteers to stock, shelf, and replenish one of the local pantries. This event can count towards one of the required volunteer activities for your Fellow application. So if this interests you, please register through this link: Volunteer event with the Foodbank Tickets, Sat, May 11, 2024 at 12:00 PM | Eventbrite

Also, on July 11, HCAT will be partnering with our local NAHSE and NALHE chapters on an education event – “Inclusive Leadership in Healthcare”. A registration link will be sent out closer to the event date so please keep an eye out for email and/or LinkedIn notifications.

Annual Chapter Member’s Needs Survey

On May 6, ACHE will send personalized emails containing a link to the Annual Chapter Member’s Needs Survey. Please make every effort to complete this survey. This will give you the opportunity to provide feedback on our programs and services to ensure that we are meeting your needs.

Congratulations to Our New Fellows

Congratulations to our chapter members that have successfully passed the Board of Governors Exam and have advanced to Fellow. These individuals have successfully met all the standards demonstrating their competency and dedication to healthcare management excellence. This is a tremendous accomplishment.
